well,
it's been a while.

i've had to bite the bullet and go to an office job to get out of debt.
lion, the witch and the wardrobe went really well and i starred in a very brechtian christmas carol (as marley, fezziwig, christmas present, yet to be and a portly gent) and it was awesome even if i say so myself.

i've been in and out of another relationship and have finally learnt after 10 years that i'm not cut out for them.
it's not a negative thing although everyone i mention it to seems to think it is. i think i'm too independent really.
i've also learnt more in that one relationship that i did in all the other combined.

right now, i'm in preprod on 3 self produced short films.
i'm most excited about the stop motion animation fairy tale.
i'm keeping tight lipped about the subject matter for the time being.

i'm helping teach at a youth theatre, for which i directed a very surreal alice in wonderland.
teaching 50 kids a self developed quadrille to 'under the sea' by the beatles has to be one of my all time achievements.
i'm writing a sarah kane/grimm influenced play for them at the mo.

so, down but certainly not out.

I'm trying to imagine Dickens and Brecht?

Good that you're having such a productive time.

thanks.

by brechtian i meant that we were multiple characters.

we started out in a cockney pub as storytellers and jumped in and out of roles.
it was really good and loads of fun.
